Garett started battling High Risk pre B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when he was just 9 and 1/2 years old. He went into remission, but relapsed in 2019. Garett received a bone marrow transplant on Dec 12, 2019. Now sixteen, and after another year filled with travel and treatments to an out-of-state facility, Garett awaits his one year post-transplant biopsy coming up in December 2020.

Update: Garett's appointment showed 100% donor cells and no cancer detected. Remission! He had follow-up scans in December 2021 which showed that he continues to be in remission!
