This little ray of sunshine is sure to make your day brighter! One year old Ian is his family’s little miracle; he has an adorable smile and in his mom’s words, “is such a happy little boy!”. 

Underneath Ian's smile, is a little boy who has numerous complications due to an extremely rare genetic disorder. So rare, that Ian is only the 9th medically documented person in the world with his specific chromosome deletion. He has multiple hurdles to overcome, such as sleep apnea/blue spells, recessed chin and laryngomalacia. Ian also has severely damaged kidneys and a sub-mitral left ventricular aneurysm in his heart that, along with other complications, require constant attention from his medical team at UVA Children’s Hospital. 

Despite trying to maintain two full-time jobs, Ian’s mom and dad are struggling with the influx of bills due to his care. Another great need, is for this family to feel love and support as they continue this unknown journey with their little boy. Thank you for offering your prayers and support to this sweet family!
