Luna's battle with cancer began inJune of 2021. Initally, Luna was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma; a cancer that was growing in the pons area of her brain stem. In basic terms, this area controls many functions crucial to living. She received her first round of chemo on July 6th. It wasn't long before Luna's doctors became aware that Luna's cancer was not Medulloblastoma, but an extremely rare cancer called ETMR. With her parents by her side, Luna battled for four months before gaining her angel wings.
