We met Ryan when he was five years old, in June of 2020. At the time, Ryan had already been fighting a diffuse leptomeningeal glioneuronal tumor of the brain and spine for over a year. This is an extremely rare type of cancerous tumor for which there is no cure.

We happen to know first-hand that Ryan gives the BEST hugs, and he can melt every heart in the room with his eyes and smile! He can also be quite a practical jokester!

Today (year 2022), Ryan is 7. To have come this far - he is a miracle - just ask his doctors! Ryan continues with chemo and experimental treatments - his family prays and hopes of finding a cure.
