Every moment Serafina’s family has with her is precious - and when the power goes out, every moment is critical to her survival. A heart patient, eight month old Serafina relies on a ventilator to breath for her 24 hours each day. With her family’s home high up on a mountain, a power outage that is only an inconvenience for us could be a matter of life and death for this tiny infant. Through your support of Samuel’s Supper, we were able to provide a dependable, hard-wired home generator and fuel source to help run all of Serafina’s medical equipment when the power goes out. Together, we gave this family peace of mind and gave Serafina the gift of life support during power outages.

Update: Serafina is doing well in 2021! She recently had surgery to replace her donor valves with larger valves that will accommodate her growing body.
